The ESEVEL brand arises from a company dedicated to vehicles repairs, sale of vehicles parts and service station, founded in the late 40s of the 20th century, which name was Estação Serviço Electro Veloz.
In 1977, it was acquired by the Pedrosa family to assure the maintenance of the vehicles of their passenger transport companies. It is currently integrated in Barraqueiro Transportes S.A., belonging to the Barraqueiro group.
In 1980, it got the dealership for the air conditioning brand Carrier-Sütrak for bus applications.
It maintains the national dealership of the air conditioning brand, which since 2009 has been renamed Eberspächer-Sütrak.
In 2020, started the dealership of the Bitzer compressor brand, and Dreiha air conditioning equipment for minibuses.
Currently, it is mainly engaged in workshop activity, service station, dedicated to the companies within the Barraqueiro group, as well as selling, installing and maintaining air conditioning equipment for buses throughout the Portuguese domestic and export markets.
